Rapscallion For Mac Mud Client
I use all lower case because mixed case can be treated differently and if I didn't pick one standard I'd go crazy trying to remember what I should do. I omit the periods in acronyms and initialisms. It's not nearly as readable but it works great for search. Instead of 'AI' I use the tag 'aai.' Best plain text editor for ios mac and windows 2017. As the name implies this is a list of of mud games and hopefully the best ones though different people have different tastes. For those who are not familiar with Mud games they are text based rpg games that are played with a telnet or mud client. Though they may seem difficult to play at first they are easy to learn how to play and actually are beneficial in learning keyboard skills and are good exercise for the mind. There are a few good mud clients available in synaptic that should start you off. Mudconnect is a Mud listings page with a huge amount of muds it also lists by categories which is helpfull to find a mud to meet your specific needs.
SimpleMU is an internet client for all MUD type games including MUSH, MOO, MUCK and MUSE. It is a fast, small client that supports a highly customizable interface including background images and full ANSI Color support with custom color configurations. Savitar is a shareware MUD client. Nov 30, 2004 So my question is, when is the best mud client in the world going to start supporting the mac community? There are no other mud clients for us in OSX right now, none with the features zMUD has to offer. Rapscallion was the best MUD client I could find to use on my dad's mac, but it definately left things wanting.

Here is a list to start this thread off. The first game I will list is called Materia Magica. It is a huge world even in mud terms. The game is very user friendly and is a good mud games for people new to muds. Outdoor areas are done with a overhead map making navigationg outside of areas easy.
There is also a compas showing exits which makes navigation in towns very easy. They also have the best help file system of all the muds I have tryed. SO if you have some spare time give it a try. Also there is Shadow Gate it is pretty stict to Dungeons and Dragons 2.0 and is a bit harder than Materia Magica but not by much. Best zip software for mac. I liked it because its fun to play. Well, I give you guys the best MUD I have ever found, and I used to play a *LOT* of them.
It doesn't have a lot of players at the moment, but. For the website eternalfantasy.org:3333 to connect The Eternal Fantasy - the definitive Final Fantasy MUD online, with the worlds of FF1, FF4, FF5, and FF6 well covered, and always growing. LOADS of classes, and an FF Tactics-style job changing system, complete with subjobs. I can't remember exactly how many 'final tier' classes there were, but.a lot, and that's ONLY counting the ones with a level 70 requirement.
